The Collegium provides students with a rare opportunity: to explore, informally, the academic and professional areas that interest them. Our student-directed Interest Groups, which cover broad fields like Engineering, Pre-Health, and Biological Sciences, host regular events and activities where students hear from faculty, professionals, and local leaders across a number of industries.
Recent activities included:
- A small-group discussion about the medical and public health fields with William Martin, MD, Dean of the College of Public Health
- An exploration of non-academic STEM careers with a scientific journalist
- A Mock Interview exercise in which students receive constructive feedback on interviewing
Honors Collegium students also engage with the community beyond campus through both sustained and occasional service activities.
