With a plethora of courses to choose from, how do you decide what to schedule each semester; whom can you look to for help? There are a number of resources available for you to take advantage of, including fellow students and the staff of the Honors & Scholars Center. However, your most knowledgeable resource when it comes to scheduling courses is your academic advisor. Every Honors student has a designated academic advisor. Your advisor will guide you with selecting appropriate courses, fulfilling the Honors contract, staying on track for timely graduation, etc. Generally, you’ll meet your Honors advisor at orientation and your advisor will instruct your autumn semester survey course.
Your assigned academic advisor will be an integral part of your undergraduate career. To learn more about academic advising at Ohio State, please go to http://advising.osu.edu/welcome.shtml
